Final CA project of the semester!

This project was to create a simple character with legs. I modeled, rigged and animated him all by myself. Joy! I'm really loving 3D animation... I can't wait until next semester! Happy Holidays, everyone. :)

Frog animatic and Primitive Theater!

Oh man, I have two updates today! The first is a simple fixed staging assignment for Concept. We had to take a pre-existing story and change the camera views.. but I also added my own little story to it with the fireflies.

Magi Animatic

Here's the final animatic from my rendition of Steven Martin's satire, "The Gift of the Magi Indian Giver." This was our first project for Concept Developement 1 class. Turn your sound on and enjoy! Huge thanks to Erica and Ryan for helping with the dialogue. You guys did amazing!

Final Pantomime

3D Ball Bounce

My first 3D Animation EVER. I am so excited to have this done! It may not seem like much, but this was a great experience for me. I'm finally stepping into my field! It was a lot of fun. The resolution and colors are a little dulled from the Vimeo upload, sorry about that! The assignment is to have one "alive" ball interact with a "dead" one.

First animatic

Wow, animating in Photoshop is cool! This is a rough animatic for my Traditional Animation class. The assignment is to have a character enter a scene, react with a stationary object, then exit the in a different emotion.

Magi Parody Final

This is like.. my favorite thing ever. I don't know why.

Concept I

I haven't updated in a while because I'm back at school now. But here are some thumbnails I did for my Concept Development class. We have to draw a narrative image describing a satirical version of "The Gift of the Magi", written by Steve Martin. Basically, A man sells his shinbones to buy his wife cuticle frames.. the wife sold her cuticles to buy him shinbone polish. Hm.

Leaving Thursday

Going back to Ringling to start Sophomore year on Monday. I can't wait to begin animatiiinngggg! I filled a document with story ideas this summer. I'm nerdtastic.
Side-note, the underwear was thankfully mine.

Any-who, this is a comic I did while I was trying to draw the image in my previous post. Drawing yourself as a cartoon is annoying. Also, that is my friend Erica and she really has pink hair. And bright blue pants. I prefer my friends to be florescent.
